Meet Dr. Thomas Boriotti
After over 30 years of serving his patients, Dr. Boriotti retired in 2017. We wish him the best of luck and a happy, healthy and relaxing retirement!
It is important for me to assist my patients in maintaining their oral health and the confidence that comes with a beautiful smile. As an artistic soul, I enjoy transferring that talent to my dental therapies. I also appreciate the challenges of dealing with each patient with unique needs. After 30 years of practice in the same town, it is a pleasure to treat and interact with three generations of the same families.
Education and continuing education
A graduate of Brown University for my bachelor's degree, I proceeded to the University of Washington for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I served four years of active duty in the US Navy before entering private practice.
Dentistry is a dynamic field that changes continuously with new technologies and techniques. Continuing education is essential for staying informed and current, and our patients benefit from being recipients of new approaches and materials.
Outside the office
A native of Newport, RI, I currently reside in the Woodinville/Bothell area with my wife of 28 years, Julie, who works as a radiologist at Evergreen Hospital. Our son Adam is 26, graduated from Santa Clara, and works in Portland. Our daughter Lauren is 23 and works in Belleveue after graduating from Western Washington University. To keep us busy at home, we have a Golden-Doodle named Rumble, and a horse, Chad, that Lauren rides in competitive events.
Staying active is one of my personal passions. I enjoy skiing, taking spinning classes at the athletic club, and distance cycling. I even participated in a recent Vancouver, BC to Whistler, BC bike race! Of course, spending time with my family is also a favorite activity, as are reading, playing golf, exploring new cuisines, and traveling.
